The police are instruments of state power trained to oppress the poor. They sever the machine for money, for greed. Who do you think they’re protecting cause it sure isn’t you or me. The National Guard came down hard on the truck drivers of Minneapolis. There was blood in the streets but we kept marching on. There is power and there is power in the union.
